In response to the tragedies that beset our country on September 11, 2001, 84 singers from 15 choral groups throughout the Boston area will present a performance of Fauré¹s Requiem, to honor and remember those who died and to raise our voices in a chorus of praise for peace. Proceeds will benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation NYC Firefighters Survivor Disaster Fund. The foundation provides both immediate and long-term support for the fallen firefighter¹s families, including counseling, emotional support, programs, and scholarships.
